Bamboo velour is a good choice for heavier flow. It is more absorbent than cotton, anti-bacterial, and bamboo pads actually smell fresher too. This is a maxi-long pad, made in the same way as the Honour Your Flow maxi pads, but just 3" longer. This pad measures 13.5" x 3" once folded for use, and is therefore a great choice when extra length is needed. Made from 1 layer of oh so soft bamboo velour, with 4 layers of bamboo fleece and a hidden layer of waterproof PUL inside, and backed with undyed bamboo flannel, this is a pad you can rely on. The quilting stitching draws the blood into the pad and off the surface, and the PUL layer keeps it in the pad. Remember to wear snug fitting knickers with your pads, so you don't get slippage.
